The One-Up Casting Getting Started Quickly
Heres how its done. After completing the first three steps that begin all castings -- creating sacred space, posing the question, and mixing the cards -- roll one of the white Solfège Dice. If the bottom point of the die's face -- the point below the letters -- is pointing upward or directly right, the card we draw next will go above the die; if the die is pointing downward or directly left, the card we draw next will go below the die. Finally, draw the card and position it above or below the die, as indicated. One card, one die: that's it.
If a die is pointing upward or directly right, the card is placed above the die, as shown To interpret your casting, find your card in the Card Index and click on it get to the actual card page; once youre there, click on the Solfège Dice link to open the pop-up window that contains the dice definitions. Each card and die is briefly defined by one or more keywords; mix and match those keywords in the context of your question to form your interpretation. Both the cards and the dice contain many layers of meaning; to explore them more deeply, follow the links. Further details and examples of interpreting cards and dice may be found here.
